Nessis was founded in
2000 to extend the vision of a manufacturing environment
equipped with technology that integrates and provides
access to information available in the related corporate
systems, and provides useful, fully integrated business
processes to empower each and every department, manager
and operator.
While bringing this vision to life, Nessis developed the
E-QWIP software suite designed to improve the quality
systems in the most demanding industries of Aerospace
and High Tech manufacturing. The heart of the E-QWIP
Suite is the E-QWIP Web Based VWI (Visual Work
Instruction) which revolutionized the process in which
instructions are delivered, monitored and adapted from
management to operator while seamlessly integrating
across departments for a truely integrated business
system. The system was so effective an early prototype
won the Messier-Dowty global innovation award.
With increasing global competition, Nessis recognized
the need to quickly implement process improvement in all
business, even beyond manufacturing, but realized many
companies did not have the required manpower or
expertise to implement the changes fast enough to get
breakthrough results. Nessis began assembling a
high-level multi-functional process team to help quickly
identify and implement required changes in an
organization leveraging the power of the E-QWIP suite.
Nessis brings to the table extensive IT knowledge,
combined with extraordinary experience and
qualifications in Process Engineering, Quality
Management including ISO 9000, Environmental Management
including ISO 14000, and System Development. Nessis is
one of a few military certified companies able to work
in government protected industries.
Vision
To provide a paperless, integrated business system to
improve the quality of the product or service
by improving communications throughout all departments,
facilities and levels of the workforce. The system is
built on the premise that all products or services must
have a process and the process procedures are based on
Lean methodologies.
Mission
To provide a holistic web-based, self-generating
integrated quality management systems that incorporate
the requirements for Quality, Environmental, Health &
Safety, Finance, HR and Management. The Integrated
Business System is dynamic to allow easy access and
adaptability from management to operators. This system
will enable companies to truly benefit from Lean
methodologies and process improvement allowing them to
profitably complete in today’s global marketplace.
